This week in English, we have continued reading our novel ‘Varjak Paw’. Based on what we have already read, we have been making inferences on who ‘The Vanishings’ may be. We challenged ourselves and used direct quotes from the text to support our points.

In Ms Januario’s Maths group we have been learning about decimals. We have been learning about tenths and hundredths on a number line and on a place value grid. We used this to support us in dividing 1- and 2-digit numbers by 10 and 100.

This week we launched our topic ‘Classification and Conservation’. We visited the Centre for Wildlife and Gardening. We investigated and conducted close observations of different organisms and habitats.
