In Lavender Class we have been looking at materials and their properties. We were given twenty different materials and had to sort them into two sets depending on their properties e.g. flexible, fragile, solid, transparent. Members of our group then had to work out what we had sorted them into.
Yesterday afternoon we had great fun trying to be the first pair to locate a number of countries in Africa, and then we had to locate some of the main cities in the U.K.! We’re learning SO much at the moment!
In English we have been studying a book titled ‘The Lost Thing’ and today we created an emotions graph for both protagonists at different parts of the story. We then did some drama focusing on the emotions felt by each of the main characters at three specific points in the book.
