This week in English, we finished writing our acrostic poems where we have been using figurative language and powerful adjectives. We also began our new text, ‘The King Who Banned the Dark’, and we are working on responding to illustrations and empathising with a character.
In Maths, we finished rounding to the nearest 10, 100 and 1000 and have also revisited representing 4 -digit numbers. Additionally, we have continued to practise our times tables and we are making good progress.
In Science, we carried out an investigation where we tested which materials are conductors. An electrical conductor is something that allows electricity to pass through it and we discovered that metal is a conductor, whereas other materials such as plastic, are insulators.
