In English, we have begun to plan our own innovated version of ‘Cinnamon’. We are changing the setting and the animal that helps the main character to speak, and we have worked collaboratively to think of ways to describe our animal by creating expanded noun phrases. We cannot wait to begin writing our stories.
We have continued with using the formal column method to subtract, but we have progressed on to calculations that require us to exchange. We have also looked at and spoken about misconceptions children often have to try and prevent us from making the same mistakes.
This week, we also completed our Take One Artist project by painting our clay tiles. We had drawn a field landscape on to our tiles, using the mark making techniques that we learnt about whilst studying David Hockney. Here are some photos of our Take One Artist journey.
