This week has been a very busy week in Mint Class. In English, we have been studying an animation called ‘Light’ by The Light Team. This week the children have begun writing their own version of the dilemma, resolution and ending.
In Maths, we are now using the formal column method when adding 3-digit numbers. We are learning how to regroup the ones and tens which will help us when solving problems later on this week.
Yesterday we completed our second lesson for Take One Artist. This year we’re studying David Hockney, a British artist, who is best known for his use of mark making. We used our mark making skills that we learnt last term and have applied these when using water paints.
