In English, we have have been reading the book ‘Sulwe’ and learning that it’s important that we like ourselves and see our value even if others don’t.
In Maths, we have completed our learning of addition with regrouping using the column method and have moved on to learning strategies to subtract. We have also been completing assessments in reading and maths to see our progress and next steps in learning.
In Science, we investigated the reflectiveness of different materials and designed a jacket or bookbag for school children who walk home when it’s dark.
England played against Iran in the World Cup on Monday and Mr Hyde gave us all permission to watch some of the game! We saw the final 3 goals scored and were very excited!
In Computing we are learning to create character’s in the Scratch programme and learn to control their movements. We have continuing to practise our songs for the winter concert and hope to see you there. Tickets can be booked via the school website.
