In Nursery, we have been very busy learning our 2D shapes, talking about what they look like and the number of sides and corners they have. The children have been looking for shapes in their environment and beyond and have been very excited when they find shapes in shapes!  We have been exploring patterns as well as repeating patterns and the children have made their own using different resources.

We have introduced the children to both Christmas and Hanukkah, looking at why and how they are both celebrated.  We have been writing letters to Santa and decorating our own stockings, ready for our presents.
