Ochre Class have had a great start to our new topic: Animals and Me. We started the week with a visitor who had heard some rumours about wolves, so we helped her sort the fact from the fiction. For example, we know that wolves don’t dress up as grandmas because wolves don’t wear clothes! Now we will be putting the facts that we have learnt into an information booklet to keep everyone safe from wolves!
In Maths we have been dividing by sharing and grouping and applying this to real life problems.
In DT we learnt about levers and hinges, and used this to make animals with a moving mechanism, like a dog with a wagging tail or a crocodile with a jaw that opens!
