Have you ever heard of Wallace and Gromit, Mickey mouse or Chicken Run? Well this week Indigo class have enjoyed completing their stop motion animation projects. Stop motion animation is animation that is captured one frame at time, with physical objects that are moved between frames. When you play back the sequence of images rapidly, it creates the illusion of movement. The children have worked really hard as animators and we have had a lot of fun documenting an alien’s adventure using stop motion.
In art the children are focusing on completing their graffiti collage and have taken inspiration from artists such as John- Michel Basquiat. I have enjoyed looking at the children’s fantastic home learning project. Thank you for exploring the graffiti in your local area with your child it has added a lot to our learning and discussions.
