In English this week, Violet Class have been reading ‘The Watertower’, a very ominous story which involves two protagonists entering forbidden territory – a derelict watertower! We aren’t sure what exactly has happened to them yet, but all we know is that when they reunite, something is very wrong… We have been rewriting the story so far and using dialogue to advance the action.

In D.T., Violet Class have been learning how to sew. We have learnt how to thread a needle and how to create a running stitch and a blanket stich. For some of us, this is our first time ever sewing – how exciting! We are going to use these skills to create our own 3D planets – we can’t wait to do this.
