A huge congratulations to the children in Year 2 for their outstanding Home Learning! Over the past few weeks they have been bringing in their amazing polar habitats. Year 2 have been learning all about animals from the North and South Poles and how different animals live in different habitats around the world. Their Home Learning project this term was to create a polar region habitat box.
We have had such a fabulous variety of habitats featuring: artic foxes, polar bears, narwhals, an orca (with moving parts!), seals and fish (including Inuit fisherman). Children have used paper, clay and a range of other materials to create their habitats. The creativity, craftsmanship and attention to detail has been very impressive. The children are so proud of their work and it’s been a joy for us all to see!
