Year 1 have been incredibly busy working on their DT project this week. Year 1 had excellent success putting their new knowledge of mechanisms, specifically axels and wheels, into practice building their very own moving vehicles! They had a fantastic Design Technology day using used wooden dowels for axels, straws as the holders, and bottle caps for wheels. Children were so articulate using the correct vocabulary to describe their vehicles. All their hard work paid off and we had many brilliantly fast cars, buses and vans by the end of the week. Well done Year 1!
