This term, Cerise Class have been excited to go to Forest School and we have had heaps of fun whilst learning. Now we know the Forest School rules we have been busy exploring the outdoor environment. Cerise have been having a wonderful time.
In class we have been learning about plants and working to explain it’s functions. We have also been writing sentences using a capital letter at the beginning, finger spaces and a full stop at the end. Some of us have even learnt to use bullet points when writing a list!
Last week we also made bird feeders! We covered a cardboard strip with lard and then carefully stuck bird seeds onto the lard or rolled it into the seeds to cover the cardboard strip. Some us made flowers for our role play garden area, which has been in full bloom. Last week we made our own plant pots and this week we have planted cress seeds inside them. We are excited to observe them and see how they grow over time.
Cerise Class had a great day on World Book Day, we were very lucky to have children from Bronze Class in Year 6 come and read to us. We also enjoyed dressing up as our favourite characters during book week. Do you recognise our costumes?
