It’s been lovely sunny day today on the farm and we’ve been hard at work feeding the lambs and pigs, harvesting vegetables, and preparing the beds in the garden for planting. The donkey and horses require lots of love and care, and we’ve been more than happy to give them a good brush down today! Combing through their mane is a long task but very rewarding as they seem to enjoy it a lot.
Group 3 were in the kitchen cooking today, creating yummy and filling pasties! They mixed the pastry themselves and rolled out the casing to add their fillings inside. Crimping the edges was the final touch and they cooked up beautifully for our lunch today.
