What a super busy term Ochre class have had already! We have been working hard this term with our new Topic, and have already had two trips to help with our learning. This week we were super lucky to visit Beckenham Place Park on the first hot spring day of the year. We visited the gardens, fields and lake area to learn about different varieties of plants and trees. We all had a wonderful time.
In class we have been writing about Pesky plants and we are all experts in our knowledge of Pitcher Plants, Venus Flytraps and Cacti. In art we have begun looking at some of Vincent Van Gogh’s paintings of flowers. We are really enjoying exploring his style of art and have used our knowledge of mark-marking to begin learning his techniques for painting.
