In Brass Class this week, we have been preparing for our SATs – just two weeks to go! We are working our socks off to do the very best we can; Miss Hudson is very proud of us all! But of course, preparing for SATs isn’t all we have done:
In Art, we have been learning all about Manga and Anime and have created our own artwork based on the artist Peach Momoko. Firstly, we sketched out our designs and then we used different mediums – including inks and water colours – to complete the final product. We love how they have turned out.
In English, we have used the music video ‘Titanium’ by David Guetta as a stimulus for writing our own narratives, using a range of show not tell and purposeful vocabulary choice to describe the setting.
We have started to learn more about algebra in Maths – whoever thought it was a good idea to mix letters and numbers?
In P.S.H.E we have been discussing healthy lifestyle choices and thinking about how we can be as happy and healthy as possible as we get older.
