Year 4 whipped up some delicious learning in Design and Technology this week! 🍪 We started with a taste test of different biscuits (the best part, yum!), then got creative by adapting our favorite recipes to invent our own unique treats. Working in teams, we baked up a storm, practising the basic recipes before moving on to our own. Sticking to a budget we adapted recipes to include ingredients and special additions (like, vanilla flavouring and chocolate chips!) and even designing special packaging for our target audiences – tea drinkers and party-loving kids! To top it off, representatives from our target groups even visited for a taste test and gave us their feedback. Teamwork and deliciousness were the key ingredients, talk about a recipe for success!
