Year 3 embarked on a culinary adventure this term! 🥕🌎 We explored where different foods come from, learned about food air miles and seasonal eating in the UK, and then put our chef hats on! 👨🍳 We practiced essential cutting and peeling skills (check out our bridge hold and claw grip!), tasted a variety of ingredients, and discussed their flavours and textures. Finally, we designed and created delicious vegetable tarts using three seasonal vegetables, focusing on both taste and presentation. The best part? We got to take our creations home to share!
