Reception have been learning all about rabbits this term, imagining them on space adventures in their writing! But today, we had some real-life, earthbound visitors: Miss Bines’ rescue rabbits! The children loved meeting them and learning all about how to care for them, including what rabbits eat; hay, fresh vegetables, and special pellets. They are long-haired mixed rabbits with their fluffy, flowing coats that need lots of brushing! They were very soft and we loved getting to give them some gentle pets. It was such a calm and lovely way to start the morning.
