In science this week, Year 5 became botanical experts as they explored the fascinating world of plant reproduction. To see exactly how a plant creates new life, the children took part in a hands-on flower dissection.

They used magnifying glasses to identify and compare tulips and roses, carefully deconstructing the flowers to reveal on the different part and make discoveries about how plants grow and survive. it was a brilliant lesson and Year 5 learnt so much.
