Year 1 have begun exploring Pop Art this term. The children have been experimenting with mark making and printing using different objects. This week they were inspired by the work of Yayoi Kusama, who is famous for her use of dots in different sizes. We created our own versions of her mushroom and pumpkin artworks using paint. Next, we are excited to explore new techniques and the work of artist Andy Warhol.
