At Nursery we have been looking at the author and illustrator Eric Carle, he is one of our favourite story tellers. We have made hats and puppets using the characters from ‘Brown Bear’, ‘A Very Busy Spider’ and ‘The Hungry Caterpillar’, here we are viewing the story of ‘A Very Busy Spider’ using a mini projector. It needed to be very dark in the class room so we were able to see the pictures.

We also printed pictures of ‘The Hungry Caterpillar’, we used recycled paper towel tubes and green paint to print lots of circles, we then added legs and facial features to finish.

Our children who are home learning have created some lovely pictures of ‘The Hungry Caterpillar’ and all the foods he ate, here is on of us painting fruit, well done!
