Well this term is going to get better and better as more children come back to school and how we are missing them!!!!
We have begun the term with a quick step into the world of poetry looking at, learning and then recreating our own version of the ‘Circle of Sun’ by Rebeccas Kai Dotlich. Fantastic work has been created both in and out of school. A big shout out to Asia and her dad for their wonderful performance and the pictures below show some amazing designs and individual creations of the poem.
With World Book Day or should I say week! next week we are not beginning our topic just yet, but that hasn’t stopped us being scientists and making our own rain gauges. As per usual the down pours were awful during our holidays but we seem to have had a little piece of Spring this week so rainfall has been limited.
As we are also focusing on being healthy both in mind and body in PHSE we have all been trying to do a little more exercise. I have loved all the videos being sent in and a special mention to Bailey and Jay Jay who have some incredible moves. Trying not to be out done, children in school have been attempting the mile a day whether by running, skipping and walking. Mrs B is currently suffering with very sore blisters from the latest activity.
