Magenta have been continuing with their journey ‘Under the sea‘. This week in English we read ‘The Rainbow Fish‘, which is about a fish who is quite selfish yet lonely, but learns to realise how important it is to share with his friends.
We decided to write to Rainbow fish ourselves, so we learnt how to write and a simple letter. We even pretended to ‘post‘ our letters !
In maths we learnt how to apply our counting skills to addition stories, where we learnt how to tell a number story using key mathematical vocabulary of ‘first, then & now‘.
Mr Glenn came over to our class to sing with us – we loved our first singing lesson!
