In Orchid class we have been learning all about life under the sea.  We have found out lots of information about different sea creatures and have written our own information posters.  We have also learnt the story of ‘Tiddler’ and have been practising telling the story using actions.  Tiddler is a fish who is late for school every day.  Each day he has a new reason for being late and they are not always true.   This week we have even written our own versions of the story.  We had lots of different reasons for being late including combing a mermaid’s hair, having a hug with an octopus and swimming in a jellyfish bloom.

In Maths we have been learning about the numbers between ten and twenty.  We have been counting using these numbers, spotting the numbers around us and learning how to make them using Numicon.
