We have had a very busy half term in Nursery, exploring, learning and making lots of new friends. We started Summer 1 growing flowers and peas in the garden, which are all growing strong. We have also been watching our caterpillars grow and have learnt all about the different stages of their life cycle. Our caterpillars have now carefully built a cocoon around themselves and are getting ready to change into beautiful Painted Lady Butterflies. We are very excited to see them emerge from their cocoons and fly around Forest School.
We have also made our own Grass Heads, adding faces and grass seeds to our pots. The children have now taken them home and have learnt what their seeds will need to grow. Once their Grass Heads have fully grown hair, they are going to bring them back into Nursery to show their friends. We can’t wait to see how long our grass will grow.
