Brass Class can’t believe that we have less than two weeks left at primary school! We’re feeling both excited for all the fun end-of-year activities, but also a bit sad that these are our last few days together before we move on to secondary school. In class, we’ve been looking at our upcoming transition. We’ve discussed what we’re looking forward to and what we’re nervous about, and have started to learn more about the expectations for Year 7. We really enjoyed looking at our new school uniforms and comparing them to our Kelvin Grove one. We’ll continue to learn more about our secondary schools so that we feel confident and ready to start in September.
On Monday, we put on our class performance of ‘Goodbye My Friend’. We have worked so hard over the past weeks to learn all of our lines (most of us had two roles!) and the song lyrics. We performed to a Year 5 class and we were absolutely brilliant! We are incredibly proud of the work that we put in and also had a lot of fun up on the stage. A video recording of our performance will be sent out at the end of this week – please watch it and enjoy!
