We are now all happy and settled in Orchid Class. We have made friends with each other and have been learning each others’ names. We have started our phonics learning and have been learning letters and the sounds they make. We are learning to write the letters and now we are beginning to read words.
In English we have been reading the book ‘Anna Hibisucs’ Song’. We have enjoyed finding out about the people in Anna’s family and what makes Anna happy. We have been talking about our families, what makes us happy and things we can do that we are proud of.
In Maths we have been learning how to count and recognising how many there are altogether in a group.
