The Year 6 children who stayed at school had a very eventful spooky themed week.

In maths, the children enjoyed working in small groups with different groups of children to create their own spooky maths games. They worked closely to a design specification, which focused on consolidating their learning of maths concepts they have covered so far. The children also relished the challenge of entering ‘The Bronze Class Dragons’ Den’ where they presented and promoted the benefits of their games.

We also used this week to improve our English and design technology skills. We designed our own spooky theme sweet and savoury products for our café and then attempted to recreate our ideas – It was so much fun! Ms West was extremely impressed with our convincing and detailed advertisement posters which were used to encourage people to stop by and join us in the Bronze Class Spooky Café.
