Emerald class have been writing a diary in character, based on the events of a boy who falls down a hole and find himself in the Stone Age.
In maths, we have been building our confidence in using the column method to subtract with renaming. This has been really tricky!
In Science, we have been learning about the function of different bones on our skeleton and drawing the bones of the hand on black card to create an eye catching display outside our classroom.
In History, we have been learning about how homes changed between the Stone Age, Bronze Age and Iron Age. We also looked closely at replica Stone Age tools made of flint and tried to work out what they might have been used for.
In Jigsaw, we have been learning about the role a bystander can play when they see someone who might be being bullied and in Music Assembly, we have been learning a range festive songs that we’ve found ourselves singing in class too!
