This we week in Green we have explored our sensory Winter Wonderland! Children helped to create sensory props, they made a hot chocolate stall, a gingerbread making station, a building igloos area, dressing the tree and an amazing ice rink! They have also explored the musical fancy dress area. The children have made lots of lovely wonderland artwork, including Christmas tress and snowmen.

In English the we are reading “The Snowman”, the children enjoyed watching the animation and pretending to fly with our classroom snowman.  In Maths we have been sorting objects into two groups! The children have been excellent at sorting animals, colours and shapes.

We have been working hard on using our communication boards in snack time. The children have been practising asking for their snack using a full sentence and saying please and thank you, through either signing or speech. We are really proud of them!
