This week in Ochre class we started reading ‘The Polar Express’. We created some snowy scenes based on the illustrations in the book. First we painted a dark background, then we cut out the mountains using brown paper and finally we added some snow and trees. We have started to think about some adjectives that we could use to describe these scenes from a train window. Next week, we’ll be writing a postcard from the Polar Express!
