Have you ever heard of the program ‘Scratch’ before? Well, the children are having a fantastic time learning about computer programming. They have spent the afternoon tinkering and have created fantastic music videos.

The children are also enjoying learning about different collage artists such as Picasso, Kurt Schwitters, Fred Tomaselli and Colombian-born Dutch artist Raquel van Haver.  Today the children will work in teams to create a range of paper using 5 different mediums:

• watercolour wash
• acrylic paints using palette knives and dry brushes
• stamping with water-based paints and different objects
• printing using rollers
• bubble painting using powder paints.
