Our topic in Blue class this term is space! We have been reading the book “Rocket says Look Up”, about a girl who wants to be an astronaut when she grows up. We found out all about meteor showers, made flyers and then wrote a diary in role as Rocket. Now we are reading ‘Man on the Moon’, and the children have really enjoyed finding the aliens hiding on different pages!

In Maths we have been looking at money, and making the same amount using different coins. We have practiced our learning on Fridays in our toast shop! First we go to the bank to withdraw our money, then we buy our toast, butter and jam!

We are still loving our weekly gardening sessions with Nina. This week we collected things from the garden and put them in bowls of water with some string, ready to hang as decorations when they freeze!
