Ochre class have been working hard on their stories based on ‘Vlad and the Great Fire of London’ this week. It has been brilliant to see how children have made the story their own, and their descriptions have been really impressive!

In maths we have begun looking at multiplication and are exploring making equal groups. Today we did some repeated addition.

Ochre class have also been learning about Lunar New Year this week. We listened to the story of why each year of the zodiac is named after an animal and we found out about how Lunar New Year is celebrated. As part of our class treat, we created some beautiful Chinese lanterns!
