This week in English, we began our new text, ‘Arthur and the Golden Rope’. Today, we worked in pairs and had to select an image of a superhero. After we wrote a paragraph describing our chosen superhero, where we focused on explaining the reasons for choosing certain descriptions and characteristics.
In Mr Gough’s Maths group, we completed the subtraction section of calculation and have now moved on to multiplication and division. We were learning to use place value charts to multiply by 10, 100 and 1,000.
In History, we considered the reasons for the Anglo-Saxons and Vikings coming to Britain in 410CE. Some reasons were that they were forced them from their homes but other reasons were because Britain was an attractive place to settle at that time.
