What a great start of the week Cerise class have had. We have continued to think about our story ‘If I had a dinosaur’ and which type of dinosaur would make a good pet. This week we have started to imagine and create our own dinosaurs. We have used different resources to give them orange or rainbow skin, feathers and horns.
We are focusing on generating adjectives to describe our dinosaurs this week, ready to write our story about them next week. We have been writing labels to describe the dinosaurs and their body parts.
We have been exploring capacity this week and making dinosaur tea. We have used our measuring and reading skills to create each dinosaur their own drink. We also had our own fruit and drink cafe, where we could practise filling cups up from empty, to half full and full.
We used money to purchase our fruit and drinks. The staff were excellent at writing the menu, counting the change and serving us all.
