In English this week we have been finishing our innovative narratives based on our focus text “Cinnamon”. We have included direct speech, expanded noun phrases and descriptive language to engage our readers.

In maths we have been solving missing number problems within addition and subtraction. We have been using our knowledge of the column method to help us solve problems.

During the afternoons we have been busy! In science we have been learning about our teeth, the different types of teeth we have and their functions. In Geography we have learnt all about fair trade and why it is important to think about it when shopping. In Design and Technology, we learnt about recipes and why recipes are adapted. We adapted our recipe to make dairy free biscuits.
