In Mint Class this week, we’ve had an amazing week of learning.
In maths, we’ve learnt how to find fractions of numbers/amounts and applied these skills when solving word problems. In science, we’ve been studying biology. This week we have discovered how water is absorbed from the roots of plants and transported through the stem. Next the water evaporates into the air. In music yesterday, we wrote our own verse to celebrate the King’s Coronation using keyboards and xylophones. Watch out Britain’s Got Talent!
Throughout the week in English, we have been busy writing our own versions of the story of ‘The Pied Piper of Hamelin’ by Michael Morpurgo. We’ve innovated our stories by changing different parts of the story to make it our own.
Have a great weekend.
