Writing and sharing our work at school is such a great experience for us as young writers. We feel proud when we get to share our stories, poems, and reports with our teachers and classmates. Sometimes we even get to share our writing in assemblies or with Mr Hyde, Ms Magee, and Mr Clark. One of the most exciting things is when we get to share our writing with other year groups. This week, Year 3 and Year 5 have been sharing their writing with each other. Year 3 wrote biographies about the amazing Floella Benjamin, while Year 5 wrote from the perspective of NASA Mathematicians Katherine G. Johnson, Dorothy Vaughan, and Mary Jackson. It’s been a wonderful opportunity to share and learn from each other’s writing.
