In Emerald class we started this week by reading a new Greek myth called ‘Perseus and the Snake-haired monster’. We then realised that Greek myths have a few things in common, they all have a mythical beast and a hero that saves the day! We ended the week by writing a newspaper report about how Medusa had been terrifying the island of Seriphus.
In Maths this week we have continued our learning on fractions, we now know how to add and subtract fractions with the same denominator.
Finally for our topic this week we have been learning all about Ancient Greece, including what they have taught us and what we still use today. Our favourite part of the week was designing our very own mythical creature which we will be making out of clay next week!
