This week the children have got into the role of being a journalist and have begun their news report about the Blitz. They have created fantastic headlines such as ‘The devastation of Sydenham, Sydenham destroyed and Germany hits Britain!’ The children have used fantastic journalistic phrases such as ‘It believed that… It is assumed that …It is estimated that’ to report about the damages through Sydenham.

In maths we continue to use Cuisenaire rods to problem solve and support our understanding of bar models.

The children look forward to creating their WWII shelters this week. Look out for their designs.
