This week in Indigo class, the children are further exploring the impact of WWII on Britain and the world. The children have become historians and are using maps to understand the impact of the bombing on Sydenham and surrounding areas. They are also looking at the different bombs used by Germany and the defences used by the British people. They have begun to determine the strengths and limitations of different historical sources by questioning the validity.
The children are enjoying computing, they have learnt the importance of online safety as well as the pros and cons of online communication. In science they are experimenting with different conductors and insulators of heat and electricity as well as creating circuits and understanding how to make a circuit work.
