This half term in Cerise class our topic is ‘We Are Superheroes!’ and it’s coming to an end. After finding out about different superheroes we focused on real life superheroes this week. We’ve had fun meeting a variety of real life superheroes such as a dental nurse and a police officer. The children have loved our new text ‘A superhero like you’ by Dr Ranj.  We have written fact files and sentences about what we want to be when we grow up.  

In Maths, we have begun to look at addition to 10 using the part, part, whole method. The children have been busy using a variety of resources to find the whole.  

We were very creative this week and used a range of materials to become doctors and create x-rays of our arms and skeletons. We built on our previous printing skills to achieve a variety of results.
